Monochromes sylvestresNathan Willerval

The Scots pines, numerous in the Novel Teppes district, are a source of inspiration for Nathan Willerval. His aim is to promote trees by changing the way we look at them, through light and ephemeral structures.

A series of sculptures takes place around the multiple Scots pines in the Novel Teppes district. This installation plays with the public by presenting woven walls installed between the trunks of pine trees. It plays with the air and its hosts by allowing itself to be discovered at height, hanging and filling the empty spaces between the trunks. The sculptures are large, curved, plant-based, presented in space. Their monochrome shades in ocher gradients interact with the color of the trunk of the Scots pines.
