Wave of RainbowAnaisa Franco (BR)

Seven meters of lighted fountains on the Pâquier! Anaisa Franco creates a tunnel equipped with motion sensors to immerse promenaders in a giant wave―a real bath―of color!
This Brazilian artist spices up the Annecy Paysage itinerary, using technology to provide a fun experience that will leave an impression. The technology enables Franco to make her electronic sculpture come alive and adjust it to fit the path taken by the people walking under it. Who hasn’t dreamed of walking under rainbow?

Born in 1981, Brazilian visual artist Anaisa Franco lives and works in Barcelona (Spain). She has a master’s degree in advanced architecture from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Barcelona, as well as degrees in digital art and technology and visual arts. An international artist, she uses emerging technologies to create interactive public artistic installations all over the world for museums, public spaces, galleries, media labs, residencies, and private commissions.
