It is said there’s a legend deeply rooted in the memory of the people of Annecy. At the beginning of all beginnings, the angels occupied the Earth. When it came time to leave, some were so sad they cried the tears that formed Lake Annecy. What would have happened if the inconsolable angels hadn’t stopped crying? Students from Gobelins Annecy answer that question using the innovative technology of augmented reality!
Aged 21 to 23 and students in their last year of the Web and mobile designer and developer bachelor’s degree at the Gobelins Annecy school, two developers (Luca Ciampi and Claire Amor) and three designers (Simon Damour, Florent Chatelet, and Lucie Plantaz-Nicoud) have combined their creativity and skills to provide an interactive augmented reality experience via the Annecy paysages app.
