Optichromie AnnecyFelipe Pantone (AR/ES)

On the great wall of Bonlieu, the future suddenly splashes in our eyes! Digital technology takes over the space, energizes it. Sparkling pixels torn by lightning, shimmering surfaces, play of colors … the immense fresco of Felipe Pantone, luminous, fascinating, imposes its deep vibrations until vertigo.

Galleries all over the world welcome his works. Felipe Pantone, Argentine-Spanish artist, has found his freedom as a painter in the heart of digital techniques. Our world is changing, our gaze is evolving. Our perception of light is no longer the same. Questioning our way of apprehending the multiple and new visual solicitations founds the approach of the artist.

Optical patterns, neon gradians, geometric shapes… Optichromie Annecy offers us a striking summary of the many elements of its artistic repertoire. Because “the light is the only reason for which the life arrives”…

Born in Argentina in 1986, Argentine-Spanish street artist Felipe Pantone started with graffiti when he was 12. Based in Valence (Spain), he is a product of the technological era, exploring how the movement of light affects color and repetition. Blending kinetic art, psychedelic graffiti, typography, and glitch art, Pantone experiments with the codes and contributions of intersecting aesthetics in his work. From Paris to Mexico and Osaka to Lisbon via Palestine, his XXL creations can be seen on walls all over the world.
